A Historic Bridal Moment for Chanel.

A Historic Bridal Moment for Chanel.
Dua Lipa has finally unveiled the breathtaking Chanel Haute Couture gown she wore to marry actor Callum Turner in Sicily—and fashion history was made in the process. The dazzling creation marks the first-ever haute couture wedding dress designed by Matthieu Blazy for Chanel since taking the helm of the iconic French house.
Handcrafted in Chanel’s legendary Paris ateliers, the gown is a masterpiece of couture artistry. Embellished with an extraordinary 480,000 hand-sewn beads, intricate trompe-l’Å“il jewels requiring more than 1,100 hours of needlework, and a feather-adorned train featuring 25,000 individually applied feathers, the dress embodies the pinnacle of craftsmanship. A six-meter embroidered veil completed the ethereal bridal look.
With its dramatic open back, shimmering embellishments, and signature couture precision, the gown beautifully reflects Blazy’s vision for a new era at Chanel—one that honors the house’s heritage while introducing a fresh sense of modern romance.
More than a wedding dress, this was a defining fashion moment: the world’s most influential pop star becoming the first Chanel bride of Matthieu Blazy’s tenure, setting the tone for what could be the next chapter in bridal couture.
