Dior’s Fall/Winter 2025 show in Paris was a captivating blend of historical elegance and modern innovation. Creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri drew inspiration from Virginia Woolf’s novel “Orlando,” exploring themes of transformation and gender fluidity. The collection featured Elizabethan ruffs, Victorian-style jackets, and sheer lace garments, seamlessly merging past and present fashion elements.

The runway itself was transformed into a dynamic theatrical space, designed by American director Robert Wilson. The set evolved throughout the show, featuring elements like a lone swing, a prehistoric pterodactyl, and asteroid-like rocks, creating an otherworldly atmosphere that complemented the collection’s narrative. 

The event attracted numerous celebrities, including Natalie Portman, a long-time Dior ambassador. Portman attended the show in a stunning little black dress with sheer lace panels, embodying the brand’s timeless elegance.
